A gorgeous pair of vintage 1920's red leather shoes.

They are made of dyed blood red leather with a closed slightly pointed toe and single strap across.

They feature a chunky Louis heel and have gilt branding on the inner sole.

They are branded for WH Smith, Court Shoemakers sloane street London, WH smith were the shoemakers for many high profile clients including nobles and royalty throughout the early 20th century including the Duchess of York, Princess Royal and Lady Edward Grosvenor.

These were certainly shoes made for a wealthy lady.

I am always amazed at how well vintage shoes can survive despite the amount of heavy usage they get.

These are listed in as is condition as they have lots of wear, wear to the buckle fasteners and lots of creasing to the leather including some splits to the leather.

Good for study or renovation.

They come with a pair of vintage show lasts.
