Antique French rosary bead necklace, Stanhope Cross pendant, bovine bone

An attractive antique French carved bovine bone rosary bead necklace with a carved bone Cross pendant.

The cross pendant has a Stanhope to the centre showing a religious image possibly of Mary, the glass sits slightly skew so you need to view at an angle but it is still clearly visible.

The beads are hand carved with various patterns from bovine bone and the necklace has chain links made from base metal.

A lovely antique piece, French make, c1890s

Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, pitting and marks to the bone, discolouration to the base metal, glass is skew in the Stanhope.
