Antique French silver chatelaine purse, coin purse

A stunning antique French silver coin purse.

The body is made up from intricately woven and delicate 800 silver mesh with fine detailing to each ring.

The base of the purse features a four beaded fringe and it has a wonderfully pretty embossed silver frame with a kiss lock clasp fastener.

There is a small jump ring so the purse can be hung from a chatelaine or sash.

French marks for silver across the top of the frame, c1900.

A beautiful and well designed antique purse.

Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some light patina.
