Antique Georgian black dot paste buckle brooch

A fabulous antique, Georgian era black dot paste buckle brooch.

Converted from a shoe buckle, in low grade silver, the brooch was originally a buckle and has had a brooch fitting added to the reverse.

It is set with beautiful 18th century black dot paste stones, all the way around in a closed back setting.

This is quite large and heavy, a lovely old piece.

Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some light wear to the metal, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, later converted, a few stones are missing.
