Antique paste spider and bee brooch

A cool antique Edwardian era spider brooch.

Crafted in gilded brass that now has an aged bronze tone to it, it features a spider set with vibrant orange paste stones and adjoining him, attached by a length of safety chain there is a gilt brass bee.

The spider brooch fastens with an old c type clasp fastening and the bee also has an additional pin fastening.

Marks and Era:
Edwardian era, unmarked, c1900s

Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some age commensurate wear and signs of use, loss of gilt finish throughout
