Antique Victorian AEI locket pendant, Silver plated

A fantastic antique Victorian era AEI locket pendant.

It is a silver plated locket with applied lettering to the front AEI in gothic script, this stands for Amity Eternity, Infinity this is thought to have Greek origins from the Greek meaning for always or ever.

Internally it has room for two photographs but no glazed covers.

C1890s, English make, Victorian

Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some wear to the plating with bronze tones showing through.
