Antique Victorian hand fan, silk, feather and bone

A stunning antique Victorian hand fan.

It is a large and elaborate fan with engraved and pierced bovine bone sticks and guards and is a folding fan.

The fan has a thistle floral embroidered silk base with the top being adorned with white feathers on a silk covered paper.

It has a small loop to the bottom with
the original silk carrying strap.

The reverse is plain.

A truly beautiful Victorian fan.

Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some age related creasing in the silk, pitting and dark marks within the bone.
