A Victorian hairwork mourning bracelet made from plaited brown hair, it has a central gilt metal knot design set with gorgeous oval cut Amethyst purple paste stones.
The bracelet has no fastener and is designed to be slipped over the wrist.
It is Unmarked, late Victorian era.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some wear to the gilt metal, fraying of the hair and slight mishaping in areas.
