Antique Victorian Pinchbeck long chain necklace, longuard

A gorgeous antique, Victorian era longuard chain necklace.

This chain has a chunky tight rolo link long chain, it is made from Pinchbeck and has the loveliest vibrant and rich golden glow, Pinchbeck is an alloy created in the 18th century to closely resemble gold and is now a highly sought after and collectable commodity in antique jewellery.

It has a dog clip fastener to one end, perfect for hanging your favourite lockets or pendants, it is a strong chain so could safely hold larger or heavier jewellery pieces.

Dog clip is marked.

Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some minor marks.
