Antique Whitby Jet puffy heart pendant, Victorian

The sweetest little antique puffy heart pendant.

Victorian era it is carved from inky black Whitby Jet with a silver plated jump ring and Jet bale.

Well carved with a lovely chunky shape.

Whilst Whitby Jet was a popular choice for mourning jewellery it was also used for other jewellery as the rich black fossilised material became popular in general in the late Victorian era.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some surface wear and light scratches.
