A rare antique Albert chain or watch chain.
This Albert chain has an unusual mining themed design, it has a number of mining related tools modelled in steel and stationed along the chain.
It has a pick, Hammer and chisel, a pail or bucket and some tongs or calipers.
It fastens with a large antique spring ring on one end and a dog clip fastener on the other.
It has chunky rolo links intercepting the tools.
A great piece highlighting the importance of the industrial revolution in the 19th century.
C1850s, English make, Unmarked.
