Vintage 1930s Black velvet opera coat, Mink trimmed

Stunning and sumptuous is the only way to describe this amazingly beautiful 1930's rich silk velvet opera coat.

This beauty is made from a superior quality silk velvet in an inky black shade, it is so soft to touch, fully lined in ivory satin with a warm brown mink fur v shaped collar and matching fur trim to the gorgeous caped sleeves.

It is rich and decadent, very well made by Isabella, it still retains its original label.

The sleeves are simply beautiful with the caped design, very sumptuous and unusual.

The sleeves are not sewn shut where they meet the cape, this is how the coat is made.

Fair used condition overall with some signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some repairs to the seams and fur trim, slight minor pitting in some areas but this is hard to notice, has a button but does not fasten, lining with wear
