Vintage 1940s American pinafore style swing dress, fruit basket

A rare vintage late 1940s pinafore style dress.

This dress gives vintage American diner vibes with it's short pointed collar, pinafore style button detailing and full skirt silhouette.

It is made from soft cotton with an unusual fruit basket print.

It has grey plastic buttons near the bust / armpits and has triangular shaped pockets to the front.

The dress comes with a matching cotton belt.

It is labelled Judy two size, late 1940s.

A gorgeous vintage dress in a hard to find design.

Buttons up the back with white plastic buttons, it is nipped in at the waist, fitted on the bust with a full skirt, the dress is shown in the photos with a petticoat.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, it has a few light marks scattered around, the back has a light brown stripe mark down the button area and the belt also has some discolouration, may come out with specialist cleaning but not guaranteed.

It is shown in the images with a petticoat for volume, it does not come with one.
