Vintage 30s two piece dress, bombshell dress, lace, Sylvia Mills

A beautiful vintage late 1930's Black lace two piece consisting of a gorgeous sheath dress and matching fitted peplum jacket.

The dress is fitted with tucks at the waist, sleeveless with a black velvet neckline, bust and straps, it has a black cotton lace overlay with a floral pattern throughout the rest of the dress.

The neckline has a v split and can be worn tucked in or out, the dress has a long thick metal zipper down the back.

The jacket has the same black lace overlay with velvet covered buttons down the front and at the cuff, it is structured and fitted with a peplum waist and faux pockets, no collar.

It is in overall good condition with a couple of small defects, see first and last photo; there is a tear in the lace at the back, on the bottom of the dress near the tuck this has an attempted past repair, there are tears in the lace under both armpits, one button on the front of the jacket is missing its velvet covering but this would be an easy fix.
